Manchester Communion March 2012
The follow up to February’s absolute smash SOLD OUT launch party is here!
We’ve got another crazy line up and if the last one is anything to go by this is going to be special.
And so to the line up…
Stefan Melbourne – First on and one of Communion Manchester’s favourite new discoveries, Stefan has beautiful voice and some serious *stop-what-you’re-doing-and-listen* melodies. Download his EP for free here & you’ll see what we mean: http://www.stefanmelbourne.co.uk/
Literature Thieves – This Manchester trio are kicking up quite a storm, especially since their recent show with Slow Club which received great reviews. Understated, enchanting and some killer harmonies.

Rae Morris – Having just signed with Atlantic & with an upcoming tour supporting Noah & The Whale – there’s plenty of buzz around Miss Morris at the moment. No smoke without fire though, her blend of vocals and keyboards are nothing short of stunning. Come see her now so you can say you saw her first when she inevitably pops up on Jools Holland in the not too distant future. www.raemorris.co.uk
Gabriel & the Hounds – You may have been enjoying GATH on XFM a fair amount recently and if so, you’ll be pleased to know that Communion will be releasing ‘Kiss Full of Teeth’ on 5th March! Imagine Jesus & Mary Chain meets Wilco. Another one to take advantage of seeing in a small venue while you still can. http://gabrielandthehounds.com/
Second Shepherds – These guys are a seriously good time rock ‘n roll band. They’ve headlined the Academy, recorded an EP at Peter Gabriel’s studio and are BBC Introducing darlings. These young lads are going places – come and have a drink and a dance, you won’t be able to help yourself! http://soundcloud.com/secondshepherds
The launch party was jam packed and we’re expecting the same again here so be a wiseguy/gal and get your tickets in advance for just £5 here
£7 on the door.
Remember Night & Day has plenty of draught beers ciders and lagers now!
Can’t wait to see you there.
