THE ROSIE TAYLOR PROJECT

Twin Beds is the new album from The Rosie Taylor Project, which is due out on Odd Box Records in February. Harnessing the intensity of The National with the pop sensibility of Jens Lekman and the intelligent wordplay of Deathcab For Cutie, The Rosie Taylor Project have made a sophisticated record, full of heartfelt honesty and romance. Produced by Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Herman Dune) and with a guest vocal appearance from Wild Beasts’ singer Tom Fleming, the band have honed their chamber pop sound to become the next in line of succession for widespread admiration.

ME & MY FRIENDS

Blending disparate styles seamlessly into an entrancing, charming whole. Delicate folk melodies sit alongside syncopated rhythms of reggae, ska, highlife, bossa nova… These unlikely crossings are held together by smart musicianship, youthful energy and the wonderful combination of Nick Rasle’s vocals and the unusual combination of Guitar, Cello, Saxophone & Djembina.
“Quirky, joyful… a wonderful sound that combines some serious artful tones with a sense of fun… delightful” – forfolksake.com

SILENT DEVICES

Built around the musical musings of guitarist Charles Addison, singer Josh Coyne, drummer Alex Bowers and bassist Scott Dillon, Leicester’s Silent Devices are band made for the festival’s main stages. On record this 4 piece create movements of sound, rarely falling under the 5 minute mark, but it is on stage that their presence is truly spell binding. For that reason alone it is easy to understand, why, without readily releasing a record, Silent Devices have already amassed many a fan with their soaring sonic soundscapes.

CHI LIMPIROJ & THE TWELFTH WALL

Having recently played with the likes of Slow Club, Allie Moss and Leeds own Joseph & David. Her band consists of Gary Ferguson on bass and backing vocals, and Fred Smith on cello, ukulele and backing vocals. Chi plays the guitar, bass, violin, ukulele, and has started teaching herself the harp. She also includes the use of the loop pedal during some of her performances.

RUPERT STROUD

Leeds troubadour has recently supported the ace Markus Foster following the release of his debut album produced by Will Jackson (Cribs, Embrace). His sound is much the Dylan singer songwriter dabbling with The La’s jangle rock and roll.
