Brendan Rogers is emerging on the burgeoning folk scene with an impassioned set of widely-influenced folk songs. His rousing vocals are complimented by an accompaniment of strings, woodwind and brass.

Brendan has been a late starter to the world of song writing and only took up singing at the age of 25. After 5 years of honing his song writing skills he moved back to London from Switzerland to pursue his passion and start to make a name for himself on the London circuit. In a very short space of time he recorded his first set of demos with Grammy award winner Dom Morley, who had approached Brendan after seeing him play a small solo show in South London.

The demos quickly gained him the credibility to secure some great support slots with the likes of the Magic Numbers and touring artists from Canada – Madison Violet and Joel Plaskett. From here Brendan moved onto play gigs at The Great Escape, Lovebox and Standon Calling in 2010 and in 2011 he has played Standon Calling, The Walk The Line Festival, The Social and The Borderline.

Brendan is working in the Metropolis studios with Grammy winner Dom Morley (www.dommorley.com Amy Winehouse, Adele, The Police) on his forth coming album at the due out in 2012. A number of Brendan’s tracks are featured on the MTV show “The Freshers” in 2012.

Brendan released his first single “Valentine” in July 2011 which was produced by Dom Morley and features Chris Higginbottom on drums, Rob Marlarkey on bass and was mastered by Miles Showell at the Metropolis Studios.

In December 2011 Brendan’s second single “Show Me your Heart” produced again by Dom Morley was to be released.
