Nathaniel Rateliff at the Stiff Kitten in Belfast
Communion Belfast and Shine.net are proud to have Nathaniel Rateliff back in Belfast this summer. Armed with his acoustic guitar, the folk crusader will be playing at the Stiff Kitten in Belfast.
Since his last Belfast show at Communion in January, Nathaniel Rateliff has released his glorious debut, ‘In Memory of Loss’, on Rounder Records/Decca. Heralded by The Sunday Times, who called it “totally mesmerising,” the record has already received rave reviews. He was joined on stage by Mumford and Sons for his headline show at The Borderline in May. The month of May also saw him perform on Jools Holland, playing tracks ‘Early Till Spring’ and ‘We Never Win’.

Also on the line-up are Southern and Sons of Caliber.
Since we last saw Southern they have released their debut EP, World Don’t Shine and have been busy spreading their folk-indie-acoustic songs far and wide from Belfast to Paris.

Introducing new music is one of the most exciting things we have the pleasure of doing and Sons of Caliber are a band to be excited about. Less folk music, more “music for folks”, Sons of Caliber have been honing a live show which is full of passion and energy – a must see. Their woodland imagery and infectious melodies will leave you smiling ear-to-ear.
