With their debut release, Means of Illumination EP, Maguire & I have shown just how high the bar is set. Their melodic folk, with driving rhythms and soaring strings will captivate and move you. Having spent the last few months writing new material, this is going to be a show not to be missed.
“Maguire & I set a course that showcases their subtle muscianship, easy charm and exquisite arrangements. An excellently assured outing.” – Francis Jones, AU Magazine

We’re really excited to have Three Blind Wolves come to Communion Belfast, given that they recently celebrated the release of their EP ‘Sound of the Storm’, out on Communion Records. Hailed as one of the great live bands you must hear this year, Three Blind Wolves’ blend of bluegrass-tinged, four-part-harmony-laden, country and folk needs your attention.
“Probably Scotland’s best kept secrets right now, magnificent spooky country blues sounds!” – Brixton Windmill
Over The Wall

On their, “Around The Isles In 80 Days: A Treacherous Adventure” Tour, Over The Wall are going to bring their euphoric pop music to Belfast. Originally a ‘collective’ of various musicians making various sounds at a club night in Glasgow, the pair (Gav Prentice and Ben Hillman) use keyboards, laptop beats, guitars, mandolins, trumpets, cowbells, harmonicas, hurdy gurdys and kazoos in their shambolic live setup.
“This is electro pop with reflective neutrality and bite.” 9/10 – Rock Sound
