Next Dublin showcase – Friday March 25th 2011

Yngve and the Innocent

German-born and Irish-raised, Yngve has been simmering under the skin of the music industry since 2004. Following the success of his solo releases “Tell Men This” and “Have You No Love” in 2008 & 2009, and the Debut full band EP “Nothing Was Delivered” in 2011, Yngve returns with his band “The Innocent” to launch their new single “Draw A Line” at Communion this month. “Draw A Line” and B-side “Changing Tracks” build upon the traditions of The Band, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, marrying great Americana with a folky, bluesy heart.

The Hot Sprockets

These five friends who came together with a shared love of Rock n’ Roll music are releasing their Debut LP ‘Honeyskippin’, the perfect introduction to a band who, since 2006, have been wearing their hardcore self-belief and their passionate love of what they do firmly upon their sleeves.

Arrow in the Sky

Arrow in the Sky are a mesmerizing duo who can be likened harmony laden song driven artists such as Crosby Stills and Nash and Simon Garfunkel or more contemporary artists such as My Morning Jacket, Fleet Foxes and Bowerbirds. They are getting set to unleash their stunning sophomore EP, Winter’s Requiem.

Rachel Austin

Rachel Austin’s music was born in Virginia and has taken her around the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and the USA. Her second EP, ‘Age of Love,’ is due for release in Spring 2011. Her initial influences were the constant flowing of the creek outside her window and the hush of summer nights gazing at stars. She is currently inspired by David Bazan, Regina Spektor, Wovenhand, and Devon Sproule.
