First London Communion of 2011

Communion is delighted to announce the line up our first clubnight of 2011 in what promises to be a fantastic year for everyone.

After the success of our Christmas party featuring Three Blind Wolves we’ve inadvertently carried on an animal themed line up with Whales In Cubicles headlining on home turf at Notting Hill Arts Club. This band have seemingly come out of nowhere and we’re very excited about them – imagine if you can a… hookier version of Queens of the Stone Age and you’ll be in the right ball park. Next up we have Hares fronted by ex Holloways guitarist Rob Skipper creating music ranging from acoustic ukelele to synth based punk – these guys are awesome live. Glasgow based Bear Bones are next on the bill playing epic and emotionally charged folk and following them is the intriguingly named XIII and the Brave – homegrown talent from Fulham. First on are the enigmatic Albatross and talented newcomer Harry Ridgeway. To compliment our Whales, Bears, Hares and Albatrosses we have Dj sets from the fantastic TV Nights, Chess Club and DJ Jam.
