Communion Belfast: Halloween Hoedown at Black Box – 31st October
Open House Festival presents Communion Belfast:
Captain Cameron
Hailing from Lisburn, Captain Cameron is fast becoming David Clements’ main musical venture. What once started as a side project which was brought out when off tour from his rock outfit, Six Star Hotel, Captain Cameron seems to be obtaining more fans and playing more shows that the almighty SSH. When not touring, Captain Cameron is busy producing records for Maguire & I, Napoleon and the Lowly Knights. We expect great things from the Captain.

Maguire & I
‘Maguire & I possess a songmanship to rival the folk heroes of old. They invite the audience into a world where captivating harmonies, astounding violin and subtle writing blend to create a unique listening experience. From accordion and banjo to pounding drums, soothing melodies meet exciting dynamic and are sure to leave you wanting more.’

Rams’ Pocket Radio
Peter McCauley seems to be a jack of all trades, not only one of the best drummers about, but it seems he has songs and a voice to match it. This project is worth watching out for. Very hotly tipped for the next 12 months.
“about to scare the ****** out of every other piano based band on the planet” – Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
“Full of intriguing left turns and whipped up into a lather of emotion, these six tracks provide a stunning introduction to RAMS’ … RAMS’ pocket radio is an artist of verve and versatility. Get tuned in.” – Francis Jones, EP review, AU mag
