Communion returns to Brighton
Communion returns at the end of the month with a brand new bounty of good old-fashioned talent and all for the unbelievable price of FREE!!
Heading up the steal are our favourite shanty boys ‘The Holy Vessels’, noising off the country tales with a potent mix of old-timer rock’n’roll and modern love and youth. These boys are set for great things so to catch them in an intimate space FOR FREE will be something extra special.

Main support comes from the hugely exciting ‘Borne Blonde’, another band buzzing radars across the land. They’re from la’ndon but we’ll be nice.

Preceding will be ‘Various Cruelties’, this lot are set to keep up the pace of a busking bustler of an evening!

Middling it is ‘Laura Hocking’, an act we hope you will be seeing a damn sight more of over the coming months. This date sees her in solo guise (she also steps the boardwalks as band and duo), enchanting, fantastical and funny = we love her. Honest to god, she’s great!

And on it goes with ‘Modern Fighting Vehicles’, the rhythmic and beautiful youth of our town’s talent. Most definitely not to be missed!

Opening are ‘Early Ghost’, a SIX piece for those fans of ‘Beirut’ and ‘The Middle East’. We say get there early as this lot are a’brimin with a brass fever shanty that will make you all feel really bad for allowing us to put on such a show for FREE!
