Communion returns to Notting Hill
So, we’re back! Communion is returning to Notting Hill Arts Club on Sunday 5th September, and we’ve got a lovely line-up for you.
First up is Georges Frakes who will chill your sight, warm your smile and fire your soul, whilst exuding a quiet, calm energy focussed into a stream of seamless finger-picked guitar and vocals that sit heavily within the realms of the likes of John Martyn and Nick Drake. Then the beautiful Misty Miller will take to the stage with her ukulele, her pure, soulful voice and clever, poignant lyricism that make it virtually impossible not to fall in love. Before Dry The River wow us with their brand of rattly alt-folk, which is a wonderfully rag-tag mixture of Americana, gospel and indie rock. My First Tooth will be next up. The fantastically critically acclaimed “oak cured” alt-country band will be culminating their national mini-tour at Communion. We’re delighted to say that following their amazing showing at The Flowerpot takeover, Crowns will be joining us again for a wonderfully Cornwall tinged headline set of rock’n'roll ragged folk.
