Communion Bristol 11th April

Second round of Communion Bristol is upon us!

The glorious London Clubnight set up by Mumford & Sons’ keyboardist Ben Lovett and Cherbourg’s Kev Jones is once again gracing our beautiful city of Bristol, and you should expect nothing less than another fun filled, musical talent infused, merry drinking session down at Mr.Wolfs on Sunday 11th April!

This month’s line up of acts proves to be just as bloody brilliant as our Launch last month, which was a huge success all round!

THE LINE-UP:

KING CHARLES: “Gloriously psychedelic and exploding with vibrant sounds.” Mix folk and pop perfectly – fop anyone?
SAMUEL BROOKES: From our neck of the woods, Bath, Communion is very excited to have Sam play. Sam is a great talent, intimate melodies yet carried with an up-beat array of instruments. One to watch.
HOLLOWBODY: “Hollowbody is the work of Dan Weltman from Bristol, and his manifesto appears to be to update acoustic blues for the modern age, while throwing in a bit of English folk whimsy for good measure…cross the old time music of America with some good old fashioned English eccentricity to generally excellent effect.” 8/10 Americana UK – album review.
KYLA LA GRANGE: This girl is one to watch. No doubt about it. A young singer/songwriter from Watford. Kyla’s blend of dark, brooding lyrics and her subtle, delicate voice will silence any chattering audience, turning all heads to the stage.
HOT FEET: Unsigned hidden gem from Stroud, Gloucestershire, the beautifully haunting folksters’ sounds will take you by the hand into a magical wonderland.
